根据农业部《动物H7N9禽流感应急处置指南(试行)》的规定，湖州市迅速采取措施，科学有序处置动物H7N9禽流感监测阳性群。
湖州市委、市政府高度重视H7N9禽流感的防控工作，接到通知后，立即组织工商、农业、卫生等有关部门，对浙北农副产品交易中心的活禽7000只全部进行扑杀。
相关部门对扑杀的禽类、禽产品、垫料等污染物送该市病死动物无害化处理中心进行焚烧作无害化处理，并对浙北农副产品交易中心的环境和设施进行全面彻底消毒，暂时关闭浙北农副产品交易中心禽类和禽产品交易区。同时为了有利于全面彻底消毒活禽交易场所，暂停湖州中心城区15个农贸市场活禽交易。
湖州市畜牧兽医部门立即启动动物H7N9禽流感监测阳性群紧急流行病学调查工作，同时加强对家禽养殖场、屠宰加工以及经营场所H7N9禽流感监测。
